Journey About Life and Loss
This piece communicates the journey we go through life from our birth, the purity and innocence to when we go back to Earth. Loss, trauma, frustration, aggression, pain, hope and happiness are emotions we all experience in life. These, and our own chiseling at our lives, make up who we are.

Memories
Mum you held me and gave me life,
and I held you when you left this life.
I wanted to communicate the feeling of being held, security, comfort, love, protection and also the difficult feelings of grief, loss, sadness and letting go, and through the creation process I’m able to heal.
The felted Cotswold fleece of the sheep Forget-me-not and Bella are still roaming the hills.

The space that we occupy is Life
The Beginning - Protecting - The End
This is the cycle for all living creatures.
The rhythm and the harmony of nature throughout the seasons.
It explores the positive and negative balance of nature and humans.

Seaweed
Close your eyes
relax and
breathe……..breathe
Take it in
listen……..listen
to the sound of the waves, breeze, birds
Smell………smell
salty, fishy
Touch……..touch
hard, soft, squishy
Become one with nature
Seaweed, heart and soul
